Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes have released the latest Living The Dream video reports covering the recent St Maarten stop of the TK Poker Tour.
The online poker and casino sites sent online satellite qualifiers Tim O'Keefe, Chris Perkins, Elena Stover, John Curcurcu and Gabor Kresco to the Casino Royale inside the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort to compete in the TK Poker Tour’s main event and subsequently followed their progress via a series of video reports.Although none of these qualifiers managed to make it past the second day of action in St Maarten, they did enjoy some fun in the sun while one friend advanced as far as the final table.Pittsburgh native Brian Kulp, a mate of Perkins, went into the final table with the chip lead although he was eventually eliminated in fourth spot for $6,700. The main event title and its $17,000 cash prize was won by Akash Mazumdar, who was returning to defend his St Maarten crown after only qualifying for last year’s extravaganza courtesy of a similar online satellite tournament series from Intertops Poker. The latest Living The Dream episodes also see Curcucu discussing an unusual ruling that almost through him off but ended up working in his favour.“It was a natural raise in any kind of casino any place else but the dealer said right away ‘sir, that’s not a raise’,” said Curcurcu. “I was unhappy with the ruling but it turned out to be in my favour because the guy to my left had pocket kings and he was just waiting for the ruling to be over with.”The reports also see Curcuru discussing some of the hands he played over the three days in St Maarten and revealed that one of the most interesting had been against fellow qualifier Perkins.Tomorrow will see the release of the final Living The Dream episode from last month's St Maarten tournament featuring a full run down of the winners.
