Tuesday, 17 March 2015
Barcelona star and amateur poker enthusiast, Neymar recently showed his passion for poker after Barcelona's 2-0 victory over Eibar.
The Brazilian forward was substituted before the close of the match, but despite being unhappy with the tactical change, he was all smiles on Instagram as he sat on his custom poker table with friends.
Although the money at stake hasn't been disclosed, Neymar has a base salary of $9 million and with his opponents similarly well-bankrolled, it's likely the Brazilian is used to playing some serious pots. In fact, this isn't the first time Neymar has been see playing poker.
During the World Cup in 2014, the keen amateur
posted a similar picture of himself playing with some of his friends in high stakes home game. On top of this, Neymar was one of the sporting stars
lending their support to Bruno Politano ahead of the 2014 WSOP Main Event final table.
In a video produced by his friend, Brazilian grinder Politano received well wishes from a slew of Brazilian footballers, including footballers Julio Cesar, Dentinho as well as singer Latino, swimmer Fernando Scherer and volleyball pro, Rodrigao.
With Barcelona preparing for a big week of action against Manchester City and Real Madrid, the fans will be hoping one of their stars isn't on tilt from all his off-the-pitch antics.
