The World Poker Tour has announced details of a series of new televised events to be hosted on our side of the Atlantic.
First up is WPT Venice from 3rd to 8th February 2011. The buy-in for the Main Event at the Casino di Venezia is €3000+€300 with a €10,000 High Roller event scheduled for 7th and 9th February. The World Poker Tour will then head north for WPT Vienna from luxurious Montessino for a €3,200+€300 Main Event from 25th to 29th March 2011. The big guns will once again be out in force for another huge high roller event, this time with a €15,000 buy-in.WPT has also revealed details of a new event in France. The €5,000+€500 WPT National Series will take place at the Aviation Club de Paris from 9th to 15th February 2011. More WPT National Series events are expected to be announced throughout 2011.WPT President Adam Pliska said: “The World Poker Tour is excited to announce these new dates in Europe. We are looking forward to returning to Venice, debuting our WPT National Series and High Rollers event in Paris and taking the Tour to Vienna for the very first time.
