PokerStars has signed a deal that will see a selection of titles from online casino games developer NetEnt offered via its soon-to-launch site for players in the American state of New Jersey.
Due to go live from March 21 in partnership with Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel, the new PokerStars domain is to additionally feature a selection of real-money poker titles for aficionados located in ‘The Garden State’ to enjoy.“We’re pleased to extend our successful global partnership with NetEnt to the New Jersey market,” said Sam Hobcraft, Casino Director for Montreal-based Amaya Incorporated, which is responsible for PokerStars and sister brand Full Tilt.“Integrating NetEnt’s top-tier games will be an important part of developing into one of the leaders in online casino in New Jersey.”For its part, Stockholm-based NetEnt already offers its games to PokerStars for use in Europe and declared that it has previously agreed similar New Jersey partnerships with the likes of 888 Holdings and Caesars Interactive Entertainment, which operate CaesarsCasino.com, and the BorgataCasino.com site from bwin.party digital entertainment and the Borgata Hotel Casino And Spa.“I am very pleased that we have been able to extend our successful partnership with Amaya Incorporated’s extremely popular gaming brand, PokerStars, to also include the regulated online casino market in New Jersey,” said Bjorn Krantz from NetEnt.“PokerStars is one of the biggest online gaming powerhouses in the world and the agreement is yet more proof of the trust and confidence that exists in NetEnt’s operational and portfolio capabilities.
