Maqbool Hashid took the honours in the southern leg, pocketing a first prize of £12,130 after outrunning a 215 runner field. Hashid started heads up play with Christopher Cooper with a seven to one chip lead and it didn't take him long to seal victory, when his set of fours held against Cooper's flush draw.
