One of the biggest names in the fledgling Indian online poker market, Thrill Poker has become the first site to join Microgaming's recently created Indian network.
“Online and offline poker in India is growing massively in popularity. We wanted to build an offering which was market-leading, secure, and robust in order to provide the best possible poker experience to Indian players”, said Aditya Oberoi, Director at Thrill Poker. “That’s why we chose to partner with Microgaming, the industry’s software expert.”The new MPN India network is a ring-fenced offering dedicated to the Indian market and operating exclusively in Indian Rupees. According to Microgaming, more sites will be added in 'the coming months'.“I’m very pleased that Thrill Poker has chosen Microgaming when looking to upgrade their poker product,” said Alex Scott, Head of Poker at Microgaming. “We have added another string to our bow with a poker network dedicated to India; it is a growing market and we are now well positioned to capitalise on this.”Thrill Poker launched last month announced details of its new Team Thrill pro lineup which will be representing the site online and in live events.Their ranks include includes some of India's top poker talent including Sahil ‘Antilog’ Agarwal, Shravan Chhabria, Dhaval Mudgal, Haresh Kukreja, Jasven Saigal and Danish Shaikh.
