PokerStars pro Leo Margets will be taking part in the Spanish version of Survivor according to recent reports.
Set to hit our screens next week on March 17th, the Spaniard will be lining up alongside eight other TV personalities and celebrities in an effort to be crowned queen of the island.Although Margets won’t be the first professional poker player to appear on Survivor – Jean-Robert Bellande and Garrett Adelstein both famously appeared on the US version – she will be the first to take part in Spanish themed show which is known as Supervivientes. One of the main reasons for Margets being included in the show is the assumption that poker players have superior powers of deductive reasoning and tactical knowledge. However, Bellande and Adelstein were seemingly unable to combine these skills with a charming personality and were subsequently eliminated during their stints on the show. Fortunately, we think Margets will have a more affable demeanour and go further than her predecessors.
