Despite the massive amounts of fun on offer at Poker in the Park this weekend, we’re not about all play and no work; we want to make sure that coming to Hanover Square on Friday and Saturday improves your poker game and to do that we’ve got a star-studded line-up of lecturers chatting all things poker.

On Friday, Nick Weathall will kick things off at 3.30pm before we see lectures from Irish Open champion James Mitchell; WSOPE runner-up and Aussie Millions heads-up champion John Tabatabai; Alex Rousso and Nik Persuad; UKIPT champion Sam Razavi and the man himself, Neil Channing.


Saturday doesn’t disappoint, either, despite following that stellar group. Paul Zimbler, our resident columnist and poker academy instructor, will be beginning proceedings at 12.30 on Saturday with Sam Trickett, triple crown winner Roland de Wolfe and PokerStars pro JP Kelly also sharing their wisdom on Saturday.




"They say you have to pay to get a poker education," said organiser Michael Caselli, "but at Poker in the Park we give it all away free. The lecture tent is one of the most popular attractions of the festival and always draws a big crowd. It really is one of the few opportunities you'll get to get free and invaluable advice from the biggest names in poker."


That’s just one tent out of ten giving you plenty of reasons to come down this weekend.
