29th February comes round only once every four year's and the good people at the Western Club in London are celebrating with a special leap year inspired tournament.

The club's Quantum Leap Year Tournament feature's a guaranteed prize pool of £2,900 for a buy in of £29. That £29 will get players a starting stack of 29,000 chips and a 29-minute clock with yes, you've guessed it, 29 players making the money. The action gets under way at 8.30pm.


The Western has also revealed details of its £15,000 Spring Guaranteed event next month. The first of two Day 1's gets under at 8.30pm on 19th March with the second following a day later, also at 8.30pm. The winner will be crowned on 21st March. The buy-in is £100+£25 Bounty with stacks starting at 20,000. An extra optional 10,000 chip bonus is also available for £10. Blinds start at just 25/50 with a 30-minute clock. Participating players can tuck into a free buffet. Daily satellites are up and running at the club in the run up to the tournament.
