Laurent Polito Wins WPT National Paris

The latest stop on the World Poker Tour's series of National events hit Paris over the weekend with 229 players on hand at the Aviation Club for the €1,500 Main Event.

After four days of action it was Frenchman Laurent Polito who took the title. Polito, who pocketed over €270,000 after winning the High Roller event at EPT Barcelona last year, added a further €74,500 to his bankroll after outlasting a final table that included England's Kuljinder Sidhu and WSOP Main Event finalist Antoine Saout.


The final table positions and payouts were as follows:


1 Laurent Polito - €82,000
2 Stéphane Benadiba - €52,000
3 Omar Lakhdari - €33,400
4 Antoine Saout - €24,750
5 Paul Fayngersh - €18,600
6: Yossi Iffergan - €14,850
7: Florent Estegassy € 12,340
8: Damien Lhommeau € 9,900


The action at the Aviation Club continues until 28 January with a host of events comprising the Euro Finals of Poker taking place at the Parisian venue. The complete tournament schedule is available here.
