Jelassi heads EPT Prague Final Table

Jelassi heads EPT Prague Final Table

Saturday, 15 December 2012

Ramzi Jelassi is the man to beat heading into the final table at EPT Prague. The Swede was the chip leader on the opening day and resumed his position at the head of the leader board courtesy of a huge pot won on the final hand of the penultimate day.

Jelassi got involved in a pre-flop raising battle with Mariusz Klosinski until both of their 2m plus stacks were in the middle. The Swede was on the right end of the cooler, tabling kings against the Pole's queens, which held to send Klosinki to the rail and give Jelassi a huge stack of 5,675,000.

Aleh Plauski is Jalessi's closest rival on 4,705,000, followed by last year's runner up David Boyacian on 4,635,000 and Sotirios Koutoupas on 3,775,000.

British hopes rest with Ben Warrington who returns with 2,220,000, with Sergey Kuzminskiy 1,850,000, Mark Herm 1,700,000 and Diego Gomez 1,380,000 rounding out the final table.

Blinds will be at 20,000-40,000 (5,000 ante) when play resumes tomorrow morning. Join James Hartigan who will be in the PokerStars.tv commentary box covering the final table action on a live stream.
