The return of the $1 million Big One for One Drop will certainly be one of the highlights at this summer's World Series of Poker (WSOP) and last night the organisers announced that they expect it to be even better than ever.

After first announcing that the super high stakes charity would return this year a slew of names began to throw their hat into the proverbial ring, including the likes of Sam Trickett and defending champion Antonio Esfandiari.

Since that initial flurry of entrants things have been somewhat quieter, but in the last 24 hours some more exciting news has come to light.
Indeed, according to Twitter, the eternally broke grinder Jean-Robert Bellande will be joining the $1 million event when it gets underway on June 29th.

Tweeting a picture of himself buying in with the caption: "There goes a milly! I just bought into the 1-Drop. If I win this it'll be brokeliving no more…" JRB will line-up amongst 56 potential grinders in the marquee event.

On top of Bellande's personal announcement, the WSOP also issued a press release last night explaining that nine more players including Vanessa Selbst, Max Altergott, Tobias Reinkemeier, Fabian Quoss and Igor Kurganov will all be in action as well.

Moreover, TV coverage of the WSOP has a whole will be increased this year with ESPN committing to multi-day coverage and three weeks of prime-time coverage of the annual festival.
