Jake Cody came tantalizingly close to winning yet another international title overnight.
The WSOP, WPT and EPT winner finished runner up at the Florida State Poker Championship eventually falling just short as Debra Dorcy collected her first major title.Over 400 players took to the tables at the Isle Casino Pompona, creating a prize pool of $432,000 with Dorcy taking $134,000 of it after a tough heads up battle. The American went into heads up play with a 7.4m to 3.4m lead but Rochdale's finest ground his way back into contention and levelled things up. Cody couldn't quite cross the line though, losing a big flip with overcards against a small pocket pair then running aces into a flopped straight.
