Jack Sambrook Leads UKIPT Newcastle Final Table

Jack Sambrook Leads UKIPT Newcastle Final Table

Monday, 10 September 2012

62 players started day 3 at UKIPT Newcastle and by the close just 8 remained, with Jack Sambrook returning as chip leader with 2,413,000. He is followed by Chris Ferguson (no, not that one) on 2,045,000. The title could still be anyone's though, as everyone has some chips to work with.

The biggest name among the final 8 is 2011 World Series of Poker November Niner Sam Holden, who will no doubt be looking to add to last year's Coral Late Night Poker night.

Notables who didn’t reach the final table but did make the money included PokerStars UK Pro Jude Ainsworth, Keith "The Camel" Hawkins and Lee Atherton who has now cashed in three of the four UKIPT main events this season.

The Final Table kicks off at 12pm today, and the chip counts will look like this:

Seat 1: Anthony Shields, United Kingdom, 402,000
Seat 2: Jack Sambrook, United Kingdom, 2,413,000
Seat 3. Sam Holden, United Kingdom, 1,122,000
Seat 4. Dan Hemingway, United Kingdom, 446,000
Seat 5. Ewan Brown, United Kingdom, 832,000
Seat 6. David Knight, United Kingdom, 683,000
Seat 7. Alexander Jobling, United Kingdom, 1,198,000
Seat 8. Chris Ferguson, United Kingdom, 2,045,000
