It's not the biggest surprise in the world but still disappointing to hear that Isildur1 won't be making an appearance at PartyPoker.com's Big Game IV.
The news that the elusive Swede wouldn't be playing at Les Ambassadeurs was revealed on Tony G's blog. The Aussie, who had agreed to back Isildur1 in the high stakes cash game, received a text from him saying, “sry for not coming, take care bud.” A very disappointed Tony G had this to say on the matter, “I have been bluffed before but I was counting on Isi to be there and this bluff is really disappointing to me. I am taking it personally. I’m not happy about it since he reached out to me and asked and then we spent some time working out details and he agreed to play. I had planned to fly Isi and three of his friends to London and we were ready to go”.Apparently the reason for Isildur1's no show was that the stakes weren't high enough despite organisers offering to raise them when he entered the game.
