As expected a bigger field was on hand for the second opening live flight at ISPT Wembley with 442 players hitting the tables to bring the grand total to 761.

Pete Linton is the man leading the charge for the €1m first prize and resumes on day 3 with a stack of 306,000. 242 players made it through the day including the likes of former WSOP Main Event winner Peter Eastgate (155,700), Jack Ellwood (152,100), French pro Antoine Saout (151,500), Dave Ulliott (145,000) and Toby Lewis (144,300).

Other notables still alive are last year's Bluff European Rankings winner Roberto Romanello (125,000), Tom Hall (109,800), Genting Tour winner Albert Sapiano (86,700), Liz Lieu (70,200) and James Akenhead (44,700).

Notable bust outs included WSOP Players' Champion Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi who ran kings into aces and WSOP November Niner Sam Holden who was on the wrong end of a set over set clash.

Yesterday's survivors will combine with a Day 2a field that included the likes of Sam Trickett, Jamie Burland, David Benyamine and overall chip leader Alban Guen.

Despite the best efforts of DuskTillDawn and the rest of the poker community, numbers have been slightly lower than hope for meaning a whopping overlay of almost €600,000.
