How High Would Your WCOOP Winnings Reach?

Thursday, 18 September 2014

PokerStars' WCOOP is now in full swing, but as the action heats up, thoughts of the Main Event aren't too far away. Always one of the most anticipated tournaments (live or online) of the year, the $5,200 MTT will see the best players in the world ante-up on September 28th this time around.

Offering a prizepool of at least $10 million (although this has already close to being broken), the marquee event is expected to receive one of its highest turnouts in recent years.

In the past the tournament has been one by some of the top names in the game, including JC Tran, Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Tyson 'POTTERPOKER' Marks who currently holds the record for the largest online prize in history with a staggering $2,278,097 haul.

For those that don't quite have the bankroll to buy-in directly like the aforementioned pros, there is still hope thanks to 2012's winner, 'Maratik'. The Russian micro stakes grinder satellited his way into the event for just 40 Frequent Player Points (FPPs) and when the dust had settled he managed to walk away with the $1 million top prize.

This year you can get in on the action from as little as $1 and to show you high your $1 would reach if you managed to spin it up in $1 million, PokerStars has put together this fancy infographic.
