Hippodrome to Host UKIPT Series' First PLO Event

Friday, 16 May 2014

After last week's record-breaker at Dusk Till Dawn, the PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour Series (UKIPT Series) heads to London next week for its first ever PLO event.

The swanky PokerStars Live Room at the Hippodrome Casino is the venue for the three-day contest which gets under way on Friday 23rd May.

With a very reasonable buy-in of £250+£25, many of the UK's top four-card grinders will be heading to Leicester Square to battle for a share of what's set be a bumper prize pool.

There should be plenty of value to be had with stacks starting at 20,000 chips and a half-hour clock. Players suffering an early bust out will be given the opportunity of one re-entry each day.

The full schedule is as follows:

Day 1a. Friday 23rd May. 2pm
Day 1b. Saturday 24th May. 2pm
Day 2. Sunday 25th May

Full Tilt Ambassadors Sin Melin and Martins Adeniya are already confirmed. If you fancy joining them, online qualifiers are up and running at PokerStars. $55 satellites run daily at 20.17 with feeder events starting from just $0.22.

There is also a live £35+£5 satellite on Friday 23rd May starting at 7.30pm. Players will start with stacks of 5,000 chips with a 15 minute clock. One rebuy or add on is allowed.
