It appears as the 2011 WSOP Main Event winner Pius Heinz has been taken off PokerStars' pro roster in the last few days.
The German pro won $8,715,368 when he took down the Big Dance two years ago, but since then he’s only managed a handful of results. While the news hasn’t been confirmed by either PokerStars or Pius, it seems that the decision was probably a mutual one with both parties agreeing not to renew his contract.Indeed, Pius become national news in Germany following his win and since then he’s appeared on a number of mainstream German TV shows to help promote the game.Pius’ departure is just one more name in PokerStars recent team shakeup which has included the departure of Ana Marquez and the arrival of UK tournament star, Jake Cody.Join Jake at the PokerStars tables with a 100% first deposit bonus of up to $500.
