Rumours appear to be mounting that both Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom and Gus Hansen have parted ways with Full Tilt.
Although there's been no official word from anyone at the online poker site, both players' images have been removed from the site's start-up page. The online chatter regarding the state of the two player's place in the company was called into question by "TheRealTomas" in the forum thread posted on Sunday. Wondering why the two players weren't linked on Full Tilt's site, he asked if they'd been let go.Within his post, the canny observer also noticed that Blom was playing EPT London without a Full Tilt patch which would suggest he's now no longer representing the brand.Another sign that could mean the association between Full Tilt and Hansen is over came a few weeks ago when he failed to show up for a much publicised heads-up match. Designed to create some buzz across the site, Hansen and Blom were set to play a $50,000 showdown. However, a last minute cancellation by Hansen meant Jake Cody had to fill in as a late replacement.Whether the rumours are true remains to be seen, but with players parting ways with their sponsors over the last few months becoming something of a trend, it wouldn't be surprising if the two high stakes pros were the last casualties of the changing poker economy.
