UK poker just keeps getting bigger and bigger – literally. Grosvenor have announced, in association with D4 Events, the Goliath five-day event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. From the 24-28 August up to 1,500 competitors will battle for a £25,000 plus first prize.

For just £120 you can enter and be one of hundreds in a £100,000 guaranteed event that will give the winner over £25,000. Speaking of giving, by playing you will be supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care as Grosvenor have generously agreed to pledge 25% of each registration fee to the cause.


The Ricoh Arena is a modern complex with conference area and sports facilities. Players will be offered discount accommodation for the tournament, which plays out two months after Dusk Til Dawn attempt to break their own UK attendance record in May with the Grand Prix.
