An estimated prize pool of £85,000 will be up for grabs this September as the Genting Players' Championship returns for a second year.
This year's tournament will take place at the Circus Casino at Birmingham's Star City complex on 24th and 25th September 2011. The buy-in will once again be £150+£15 with tournament organisers Genting boosting the prize pool by £10,000. As well as a chunky cash sum, the winner will also bag a seat in the Palm Beach Big Game worth £1,500.Stacks for the main event, which will be streamed live online using new radio frequency technology, will start at 8,000 chips but players who buy-in or qualify online and generate £5 in rake or tournament fees can bag an extra 2,000 chips. “The 2011 Genting Poker Players Championship promises to be even better than last year’s with a bigger field, better structure and more added value prizes and events.
