The first of two opening flights in the £200,000 guaranteed tournament starts at noon today with players getting a starting stack of 20,000 chips with a one-hour clock for their £1,000+£70 buy-in. Re-entry is allowed for the first six levels. A second opening flight will follow at the same time tomorrow. The field at the G Casino will be hoping to follow in the illustrious footsteps of Neil Channing and the Hit Squad's Chaz Chattha who took the honours at GUKPT Luton in 2010 and 2011 respectively. Jamie O'Connor took the honours in last year's GUKPT Luton Main Event, pocketing a first prize of £45,760 after a outlasting a field of 155 runners.
