Full Tilt’s US Remission Process to be Announced

Full Tilt’s US Remission Process to be Announced

Thursday, 15 August 2013

A spark of good news glinted on the horizon yesterday as the Garden City Group hinted that they will be announcing the repayment schedule for US Full Tilt Poker players this week.

Having held the repayment contract since March, GCG announced last week that their review procedure was complete and according to Pokerfuse they recently confirmed their intention to set a date by the end of this week.

Since the Black Friday shutdown of Full Tilt thousands of US players have had their bankrolls frozen and been given little information as to how or when they’d receive their money back.

Following the purchase of Full Tilt by PokerStars’ parent company, the Rational Group, GCG was named as the claims administrator but thus far they’ve released very little in regards to when repayments would start.

While this latest news certainly won’t have grinders across the Atlantic jumping for joy, it should give them some cause to smile as it appears a resolution is on the horizon.
