Former bwin.party Boss Launches NJ Poker Site

Thursday, 20 November 2014

Former bwin.party chief, Jim Ryan, has found his way back into the online poker world again this week following the soft-launch of Pala Interactive's New Jersey platform.

Leading the first Tribal Indian outfit into the State's virtual gaming arena, Ryan will be working alongside the Borgata to become the ninth online poker venture to ante-up in the Garden State.

The site launched earlier this week and to ensure its product is ready for the open market, Pala is going through a beta-testing period. As well as offering punters the chance to see inside the newest legal online poker room in the US, Pala is giving the first 500 people to sign-up $25 a day to play on the site and provide feedback.

Aside from players showing some early support for the site, one of the game's biggest stars, Phil Ivey, has also thrown his considerable weight behind the product. Ivey was previously linked to the site in a business capacity and tweeted yesterday's that he's happy another site is going live in his home State of New Jersey.

As well as offering poker and casino games, Pala Interactive has partnered with Optimal Payments. This means anyone that wants to ante-up on the site will be able to use a range of well-respected processors, including Neteller.
