Lovers of the six-max game will be out in force in Dublin this weekend for the European Short Handed Poker Championship which gets under way this lunchtime.
The four-day festival at the Regency Hotel will feature a total of seven hold'em and PLO events with top billing going to the three-day €550 Main Event. The first of two opening flights starts at 1pm with players receiving starting stacks of 20,000 chips with a 60-minute clock. The second opening flights starts at the same time tomorrow and is already a sell out.There's plenty of action scheduled in addition to the main event including nightly €100 NLH turbos at 8pm, a two-day €300 no limit hold'em tournament starting on Saturday at 2pm and a two-day PLO triple chance that follows at 4pm.
