Esfandiari Signs with Poker Central

Thursday, 7 May 2015

The new 24/7 poker channel, Poker Central, has just added Antonio Esfandiari to its ever-growing team.

Last week the US TV station announced the signing of Daniel Negreanu and last night the company's CEO, Clint Stinchcomb, highlighted the signing of Esfandiari.

Thanks to his charismatic personality and skill with a deck of cards, Esfandiari has made compelling viewing over the last ten years and it's this charm that Poker Central will hope to capture when he appears on its various shows.

"We are thrilled to add Antonio to the Poker Central team. Antonio is beloved in the poker community, and will be a great asset in launching our 24/7 poker network," said Stinchcomb.

Although the new 24/7 poker network is yet to go live, staff are currently preparing for Super High Roller Bowl. Costing $500,000 to enter, the made-for-TV tournament will boast a $25 million prizepool and feature the some of the biggest names in poker, including: Daniel Negreanu, Dan Colman, Erik Seidel, Joseph Cheong, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Scott Seiver, and Tom Dwan.

The showpiece event should get the channel's poker coverage off to a flying start when the cameras start rolling later this year.
