The European Poker Tour is teaming up with the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) for a massive festival of live poker next month.
The 11-day festival will run from 5-16 March with the Grosvenor Victoria Casino the venue for both the EPT and UKIPT Main Event. Sharing hosting duties with the Vic will be the soon to open PokerStars Live room at the Hippodrome Casino.The action gets under way with the £770 UKIPT Grand Final Main Event. Other highlights include a £2,150 High Roller and nightly Turbos starting from £110. As the UKIPT Grand Final reaches a climax attention will turn to the European Poker Tour with top billing going to the £5,250 Main Event. Other tournaments that are set to prove popular will be the £330 Spring Fling Turbo which a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000, the £10,300 EPT High Roller, a £550 No Limit Deepstack event, the £550 PokerStars Women event and the ever-popular £2,100 No Limit Turbo. One person who's definitely looking forward to the return of the EPT to the capital is former winner Victoria Coren. "I am very excited that EPT London is returning to the Vic, where it began. I think the atmosphere there will be fantastic.
