Americans are set to celebrate their annual Thanksgiving holiday on November 23 and Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes will be getting in on the act by holding a special online poker tournament offering a guaranteed $1,000 cash prize for the winner.

The Horizon Poker Network sites stated that their one-off Thanksgiving Tournament will begin from 5:30pm New York time on November 23 with players anywhere in the world able to take part and receive their 10,000 starting chips by buying in direct for only $11.

However, players that want to take part in the action for less are due to be given the chance from Friday to take part in a series of Hyper-Turbo and R&A qualifiers with buy-ins starting from as little as $2.20. Juicy Stakes and Intertops Poker explained that the winner of each of these satellite events is to be awarded with a seat into the November 23 final for the chance to compete for the $1,000 cash prize.

As if this wasn’t enough, the domains will be running a $1.10 buy-in last chance qualifier on November 23 at 2pm that is to moreover hand out one seat into the upcoming big final.

“We’ve all got a lot to be grateful for but one of our players is going to have a thousand more reasons to be thankful this weekend,” read a statement from Intertops Poker.
