Deeb Dominating SCOOP

Deeb Dominating SCOOP

Tuesday, 21 May 2013

Shaun Deeb is putting on another SCOOP master class this year with a string of deep finishes leaving him agonisingly close to a record sixth title.

Last weekend Deeb managed to hit another second place finish to move into second place on the overall performance leaderboard.

Indeed, hard fought battle against Florian 'fa_morgoth' Langmann in Event #23-M might not have given Deeb the victory he wanted but it did earn him another $63,463 as well as 80 leaderboard points.

That finish took Deeb’s tally to 385 points which was enough to put him second on the overall leaderboard, just ahead of George Danzer (350) and George "JORJ95" Lind (370).

However in the last 24 hours the American pro has managed another deep run and bagged yet more Player of the Series points to surpass Brazil’s "ninototoroko".

After lining up alongside 352 players in Event #24-H, Deeb eventually finished 5th in the $1,050 NLHE/PLO event after his Ad Qc couldn’t overcome Dylan “ImaLucSac” Linde’s Ah Kc.

While that pot helped Linde go on to win the event and $70,047, Deeb’s $20,634 cash was enough to take him to the top of the POS leaderboard with 440 points and one step closer to the EPT 10 Grand Final package.
