Daniel Negreanu isn't usually one to miss a WSOP event; even if that means hotfooting it back from a football match to join the action.
Every year Kid Poker tries his best to play as many events at the WSOP as possible and this year appears to be no exception as he was snapped last night wearing his football (actual football) kit at the table. While football may not be a hugely popular sport in Canada or, indeed, the US, Negreanu appears to have a place in a local team and even has his own kit.Although Negreanu didn't give away the result of his match, he was happy to show off his socks and football boots to Chad Holloway. While Negreanu appeared happy with his attire, Holloway was quick to note that John Monette wasn't quite as impressed with Kid Poker's football kit.Football antics aside, Negreanu will once again be chasing WSOP glory this year in a bid to become the most successful tournament player in the history of the game.
