Clyde Tjauw Foe Wins Rotterdam Poker Series

Tuesday, 2 September 2014

After a massive couple of weeks at EPT Barcelona, it was a relatively quiet weekend on the European tournament circuit.

The biggest action was in the Netherlands where 271 players took to the felt for the €1,000 Rotterdam Series of Poker Main Event.

After three days of hard-fought action it was Clyde Tjauw Foe who took the honours. Tjauw Foe, who finished last year's Rotterdam Main Event in sixth place, agreed a chop with Pascal Vos when play went two-handed.

Both players agreed to go all in blind on the first hand of heads up play with Tjauw Foe's flopped jacks good enough to take the title.

The Dutchman's €53,350 score was his second highest payday after last year's €60,000 win in the EPT Grand Final. Tjauw Foe's earnings now stand at $283,895.

The final payouts were as follows:

1 Clyde Tjauw Foe €53,350
2 Pascal Vos €56,204
3 Misel Draganic €23,495
4 Sven Wendt €18,743
5 Nico Kuan €16,103
6 Guy Goosens €13,200
7 Abdel Kader €10,560
8 Dino Heco €7,920
9 Tonny van Eck €5,280
10 Leo Soering €4,224
