Chris Moorman Bags Another Triple Crown

Chris Moorman Bags Another Triple Crown

Tuesday, 5 August 2014

He may have been forced to take a break from online poker whilst at the WSOP this year, but it seems the time away hasn't done Chris Moorman any harm.

Indeed, after returning to the virtual felt last weekend, the British pro managed to bag the 21st Triple Crown of his career.

The feat not only netted him just over $30,000 but put him even further ahead on the Triple Crown table (his closest rival has 11 crowns).

Moorman's 19-hour grind began on Sunday with a win on the iPoker Network for $3,600 before a $6,500 haul in the Benjamin on Full Tilt.

Needing just one more win to set another record, Moorman was able to make it through to Day 2 of the Winamax High Roller.

Having previously won the 6-max event three times he was in a confident mood as the field thinned and eventually he was able to clinch the $20,000 top prize (taking his online earnings to $11,335,888 according to the number crunchers at PocketFives.com) as well as his latest Triple Crown in the early hours of the morning.
