Charlotte Langton wins latest leg of the Betfred Ladies Tour

103 players gathered at the Western Club in Acton for the eighth and final leg of the Betfred Ladies Poker Tour on Saturday. In the end it was Charlotte Langton who emerged victorious to claim the first prize of £3,510 and with it a seat at the Grand Final.

Langton was nestled safely in the middle of the pack at the start of play at the final table but got off to a bad start losing a big pot after her pocket 10s were beaten by Claire Macgregor’s AJ. She soon bounced back though doubling up with AK over Jennie Kay’s A4. Langton then had a crucial bit of luck when her A10 defeated Lolly’s AK. She took that momentum into heads up play against Lee-Anne Ball, sealing the win after hitting two pair to beat Ball’s single pair.


Langton will return to the Western Club for the Grand Final on 21st November where the winner will earn a Betfred Poker sponsorship package worth £10,000.
