Carlos Mortensen gunning for WPT Hollywood title

Wednesday, 24 March 2010

While the PokerStars European Poker Tour is attracting some big names in Austria, the World Poker Tour is on US soil for the Hollywood Poker Open.

Just 144 players entered but a hefty $10,000 buy-in still lead to a massive first prize of $393,000.

One man still very much in the hunt is 2002 World Series of Poker champion Carlos Mortensen. The Full Tilt Poker red pro is back on the poker scene after some downtime and is in fifth place out of the two tables.
