CAPT Velden Campaign Begins

Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes have launched a three-tier satellite tournament series that is promising to award a prize package into the main event of the upcoming Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) European Poker Championship in Velden.
The Horizon Poker Network sites last month sent a trio of online poker players to compete at the Seefeld stop of the CAPT and are now running a similar promotion for the 27th annual European Poker Championship, which is set to take place in the picturesque Alpine town from July 13 to 24.
“This time, the winner will travel to Austria’s ‘Monte Carlo of the Alps’ to play in the prestigious €700,000 ($786,247) CAPT Velden European Poker Championship,” read a statement from Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes.
“The ultimate €4,500 ($5,054) prize package for the three-tier tournament series beginning this week includes €445 ($500) in travel expenses, five nights’ accommodation plus the €2,700 ($3,032) buy-in to the main event for CAPT Velden.”
The online satellite series’ first-step $2.20 buy-in qualifiers are taking place at 2:00am, 4:00am, 8:00pm, 10:00pm and 11:59pm New York time every day until April 9 with each game awarding seats into step-two competitions. These $11 buy-in second-step events are to be held daily at 2:00am until April 10 with each handing out spots into a $110 buy-in April 11 final where the final prize package is to be awarded.
For those on an event tighter budget, Juicy Stakes and Intertops Poker will additionally hold a $1.10 buy-in ‘last chance’ event on April 10 at 11:30pm with further seats into the final on offer.
“Velden is a posh lakeside summer health resort with sports and outdoor activities like golf and hiking while, with Casino Velden at its heart, it’s also known for its nightlife,” read the statement from Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes.

Lucky online poker player is due to walk away with a prize package into the main event of the 27th annual CAPT European Poker Championship worth €4,500.
Juicy Stakes and Intertops Poker further revealed that poker aficionados can follow the exploits of the eventual winner of the CAPT main event seat as well as their qualifiers that will soon take part in the
TK Poker Tour in St Maarten via the
Living The Dream blog.
“Until March 28, $200 guaranteed Easter freerolls continue at both poker rooms every day at 2:15pm and up to $1,000 guaranteed tournaments continue every night at 8:15pm,” read the statement from Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes.
“Both Intertops Poker and Juicy Stakes are also offering an up to $200 reload bonus this week.”
