Brit Martins Adeniya leads EPT Deauville after Day 2

Over the course of Day 2 of the PokerStars EPT Deauville, the Day 1a and 1b survivors were narrowed down further with 178 players making it through the six 75-minute levels. Leading the way into Day 3 is Martins Adeniya with 512,200.

Fellow Brits Chris Brammer 321,900, Toby Lewis 278,000 and James Dempsey 274,600 are also riding high.


EPT champions and Team PokerStars had the opposite day with Jake Cody, Arnaud Mattern and Liv Boeree all hitting the rail alongside Vanessa Rousso, Fatima Moreira de Melo and Zimnan Ziyard.


One who did make it through, however, is Luca Pagano. The Italian is seeking his record 20th EPT cash. Of the 178 survivors, 128 will reach the money with the winner set to take hme €870,000.


The top five chip counts are as follows:
1. Martins Adeniya 512,200
2. Brahim Oubella 452,000
3. Artem Litvinov 397,100
4. Ludovic Lacay 377,300
5. Jason Hallee 375,900
