Lynch, who appeared in celebrity sports show The Games, will be given a year to hone his poker skills before taking park in the 2010 International Poker Open in Killarney.


Speaking to Dublin’s Herald newspaper Lynch said, "I know nothing about poker and was quite intimidated by it so the experience is to learn how to play and actually end up in one of the big tournaments down in Killarney, so I have about a year or so to get my head around poker."
