Bobby Oboodi has over 900,000 reasons to be cheerful this morning after taking down the latest World Poker Tour event at Borgata.
The American went into the final table as one of the two chip leaders and clashed with fellow big stack Fred Goldberg early on. The altercation centred on Oboodi's rail rather than on the felt though and resulted in two of Oboodi's cheering section being escorted from the premises.Oboodi didn't let the distractions away from the felt put him off though and sailed through the final table causing a string of eliminations. After Daniel Buzgon was eliminated in third it was left to Jin Hwang to stop the Oboodi express. Hwang, who started the day as the short stack, couldn't stop the inevitable though, bowing out when his two pair ran into Oboodi's flush. The 24-year-old from New Jersey pocketed $922,441 for the win as well as earning a seat in the WPT Championship worth $25,000.The final table positions and payouts were as follows:1st: Bobby Oboodi – $922,4412nd: Jin Hwang – $554,3033rd: Daniel Buzgon – $335,4334th: Fred Goldberg – $280,9255th: Darren Elias – $230,6106th: Ricky Hale – $186,585
