Bluff Europe has teamed up with the world's fastest growing social poker network RankingHero.com, to launch the new-look European Poker Rankings.
The new RankingHero-powered ratings will provide the best formula, instant updates, filters, and increased exposure for players and cardrooms across the continent."We developed our own ranking system in-house several years ago and we have always been very proud of it, but there is always room for improvement," said Michael Caselli, editor-in-chief of Bluff Europe. "RankingHero is the most comprehensive social poker database around, so we are confident the team there can help us take things to the next level.”Under the new Bluff European Rankings system, the number of players and the buy-in are taken into account for each qualifying tournament, using a new algorithm, meaning players are rewarded for both big scores and consistency. RankingHero's CCO Nicolas Levi added: "We are thrilled to work with Bluff Europe on their long established rankings, which remains popular within the poker community. We believe poker players deserve the best technology and are honoured to bring our expertise to the table."Miroslav Alilovic from France currently sits in the number one spot in the rankings. Two of the UK's finest up-and-coming pros, Jack Salter and Stephen Chidwick, are in the top five. Both Salter and Chidwick are among the nominees for the fifth annual British Poker Awards, for which voting is now open to the public.
