The madness that is the PartyPoker Big Game has a new venue. Nottingham's Dusk Till Dawn will be hosting the 48-hour cash game marathon from 15-17 April 2011.
A host of top names have already been confirmed for the event including Tony G, David 'Viffer' Peat, Annette Obrestad, Neil Channing, Jennifer Tilly, Roberto Romanello, Robert Williamson III, James Bord and Toby Lewis. Also set to join that stellar field is Sam Trickett. The Nottinghamshire youngster, who is running as hot as anyone on the planet at the moment (with the exception of Erik Seidel of course), had this to say about playing on familiar territory, "I'm really looking forward to playing in my home town of Nottingham - Dusk Till Dawn is a fitting venue for a prestigious event like the 48 hour cash game. The line up is even sicker than last year, so I'll have to be on my A-game!"David 'Viffer' Peat was the big winner at last year's Big Game, pocketing over $147,000 after putting in a marathon 48-hour shift. It's not just the pros who will be taking part in this year's event though. PartyPoker is offering nine packages worth $15,000 apiece including the $13,000 buy-in and $2,000 in spending money.Players have to opt-in and compete in one of three points races that run from the 21st March - 3rd April.
