The 47th edition of the World Series Of Poker (WSOP) is due to kick off from May 31 and poker fans are being offered a unique chance to participate in the extravaganza’s main event while simultaneously helping charity.

The $10,000 buy-in main event of the WSOP is scheduled to run from July 9 and aficionados can now bid for the chance to kick off the final table action at Las Vegas’ iconic Rio All-Suite Hotel And Casino by making the famous ‘shuffle up and deal’ announcement.

The auction began last week at CharityBuzz.com and is set to continue until March 17 with the winning bidder also due to receive two front-row seats where they can watch all of the final table poker action as well as an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the WSOP’s television production facilities.

The package, which has an estimated value of $10,000, will additionally include a private poker lesson with Frank Kassella alongside three nights in a deluxe room at The Cromwell Las Vegas and dinner for two at its restaurant by chef Giada De Laurentiis.

“Announce ‘shuffle up and deal’ at the WSOP main event final table,” read a statement from CharityBuzz.com.

“The moment will be filmed and broadcast, so it’s your time to shine and remember for always.”

CharityBuzz.com stated that all of the money raised will go towards supporting One Drop, a charity that works to provide clean drinking water for those in third-world countries, with ’Conscientious Bidder’ currently the holder of the highest bid at $2,502.
