Friday, 4 November 2011

215 players started day 2 WPT Amneville and by the close of play just 76 were remaining with Scott Baumstein at the top of the chip counts with a chunky stack of 481,300. Joining the Swiss player near the top of the leader board were Marvin Rettenmaier on 454,800 and Joseph Cheong 380,100.

Other notables still in with a shot of making the money include Anders Rasmussen on 275,000, Arnaud Mattern on 258,400 and Bruno Fitoussi on 77,000.

British hopes rest with Sundeep Sandhu on 118,500 and Sandiep Khoas on 76,700 after the elimination of Liv Boeree, Luke Fields and Matthew Frankland yesterday.

Today's five levels of action will see the field whittled down to just 18 with the money bubble bursting at 36.
