Yesterday saw the start of the Aussie Millions at the Crown Casino, Melbourne. The festival is one of the most popular on the poker calendar and will feature a host of games for all bankrolls.
Indeed, the cheapest event costs just AUD$550, while the most expensive are priced at AUD$100,000 and AUD$250,000.As ever the AUD$10,000 Main Event, which kicks off on 27th January, will be the focus for many of the superstars in attendance. Following the tradition of previous years, the Aussie Millions will also feature a celebrity charity event hosted by Joe Hachem and Shane Warne. Numbers for this year’s festival are expected to be high; however, a number of pros, such as Erik Seidel, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and Tom “durrrr” Dwan, are unlikely to be in attendance due to their commitments at the forthcoming NBC Heads-Up Championship.
