Arsenal may have missed out on Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain and could still get Luis Suarez but we can confirm that they have at least one confirmed signing this transfer window.
The Gunners have inked a multi-million pound deal with Bodog who will act as the north London club's official Asian Betting Partner. The news follows the club's recent tour of the Far East which took in stops in Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan. “The Premier League’s popularity in Asia is well documented and some clubs have been quicker than others to realise that potential,” said Izhar Biran, Bodog’s Marketing Director. “Arsenal has been particularly pro-active in the region for a number of years and the recent tour only serves to highlight that point. The trust and loyalty both Arsenal and the Premier League stand for makes this the perfect partnership to continue the phenomenal growth of the Bodog brand in Asia.” The deal will give Bodog the chance to develop marketing initiatives and consumer promotions, generate content with Arsenal first-team players and utilise the Club’s database to provide fans in Asia with tailored betting offers around matches. “As our fanbase in Asia continues to grow rapidly, working in partnership with companies like Bodog who have long-term roots in the region, provides a strong platform to further engage with Arsenal fans in Asia,” added Vinai Venkatesham, Head of Global Partnerships at Arsenal.
