Another Bracelet for Max Pescatori

Another Bracelet for Max Pescatori

Tuesday, 23 June 2015

Max Pescatori has won his second bracelet of the 2015 World Series of Poker after taking down the $10,000 Seven Card Stud 8 or Better Championship event.

The Italian topped a stellar field of 111 entrants and a final table that included Daniel Negreanu and England's Stephen Chidwick to walk away with a $292,158 payout.

“I believed I could do it, because Stud is my best game,” Pescatori told WSOP.com. “Coming into the series, I thought this event was my best shot to win another gold bracelet. The win in Razz (gold bracelet number three) wasn’t the event I necessarily thought was my best chance, so that was nice to get it there. But I always thought Stud was the game where I could go deep. I even spent a lot of time beforehand studying and thinking more about the game.”

This latest triumph was the 44-year-old's fourth WSOP bracelet and took his earning in the Series past the $2m mark.
