WSOP bracelet winner, star of the Celebrity Apprentice and self proclaimed best female poker player in the world Annie Duke has parted company with sponsor UB.com.
The former WSOP Tournament of Champions winner revealed the split on her website saying, “It’s bittersweet, but I’ve decided to leave UB. I have nothing but positive things to say about UB and my experiences with the brand, management team, and dedicated employees who work hard every day to deliver a terrific online poker experience for players like you. I’ve sincerely enjoyed wearing the UB patch, but it’s time for me to move on.”Duke put the move down to 'professional and personal growth', adding that she would be pursuing 'business opportunities on a full time basis'. That personal growth is likely to include spending more time with her significant other, actor Joe Reitman. The pair announced their engagement earlier this week.Duke's departure will raise more questions about Phil Hellmuth's future at UB.com. The 11-time WSOP bracelet winner was recently spotted wearing gear minus the previously obligatory UB patch prompting a flurry of speculation about a split from his long time sponsor.Keep up to date with all the news from the poker world by following us on Twitter and Facebook.
