The US-friendly online poker site Americas Cardroom has launched a new On Demand Tournaments feature.
Described as ‘a cross between sit-and-go tournaments and multi-table tournaments’, the new On Demand Tournaments feature is part of the site's latest software update that also includes a preferred seating option. “Here we go again, enhancing our software with new features that are driven by player feedback,” said Michael Harris from Americas Cardroom.“On Demand Tournaments are designed for every player who wants to experience the heated competition of a large-scale multi-table tournament without having to wait for a scheduled start time. We know they're going to be hugely popular.” Just like sit-and-go events, On Demand Tournaments have no specified start times and begin only when the specified number of players have taken their seats at the table. Events then begin with a late registration period and will continue to allow players to enter for a specific period of time just like regular multi-table tournaments. Americas Cardroom stated that its new preferred seating feature covers six, eight and nine-handed heads-up games. After being seated, the domain’s software will now automatically rotate players to their preferred position. New players signing up at Americas Cardroom via Bluff Europe can enjoy a 100% first deposit bonus of up to $1000 as well as gaining entry into a $250 freeroll.
