WSOP Main Event chip leader chip leader JC Tran has bagged himself a sponsorship deal in advance of this year's November Nine.

The Vietnamese-born pro has inked a deal to act as an ambassador for 888Poker and will join fellow November Niners Jay Farber and Michiel Brummelhius who will also be donning Team 888 Poker patches at this year's WSOP finale.

"I am extremely excited to work with 888poker and looking forward to a great experience,” said Tran, who already has two WSOP bracelets to his name. “I can't wait to represent 888poker at my best and help in any way possible."

Before turning his attention to the WSOP, Tran will be hoping to add to his career earnings of $8m at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. The 36-year-old is amongst the final nine at the inaugural WPT Alpha8 super high roller event where the eventual winner will walk away with over $891k.
