iPOPS Satellites Start Today

iPoker's flagship online poker festival, iPOPS, will take place from November 16 and a selection of satellites get under way today. Split into two levels, High and Low, the fifth incarnation of the iPoker Online Poker Series will feature 16 tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $1.10 to $350.

Throughout iPOPS V at least $1.25 million will be given away and in a bid to give as many people as possible a chance to capture a slice of that money a comprehensive satellite schedule is on offer. Regardless of a player's bankroll there will be a chance for everyone to get in on the action, with qualifiers starting at just $0.05+$0.01.

The jewel in this year's iPOPS crown will be the $215 Main Event which kicks off on December 1 and features a guaranteed prizepool of $400,000.

In addition to this year's iPOPS there have been a number of recent changes across the iPoker Network, including the addition of cash game time banks, late registration for SNGs and multi-entry tournaments. Moreover, a new "toast notification" system is in operation that allows players to receive vital hand information from other tables whilst they are navigated away from said tables.
